West Asia to shine on MyCujoo

MyCujoo signs three year exclusive agreement with the West Asian football federation

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (June 20, 2019) - Official, signed and a done deal: the West Asian Football Federation, a year after starting to have its competitions streamed on MyCujoo, has reached an agreement with the streaming platform, granting exclusive digital media and data rights of its competitions (except the WAFF Men Championship) to the long tail streaming platform.

For the next three years, the zonal association regrouping 12 members from West Asia will use MyCujoo to produce and distribute its content, continuing a trend for the region’s content as already nine of the member associations have been using MyCujoo for various matches and competitions.

“We have been present in Asia since 2016, and we keep on growing in this very dynamic football market” said Pedro Presa, CEO and co-founder of MyCujoo. “This multi-year, exclusive agreement with the WAFF is the latest in a series of such agreements for MyCujoo in Asia, allowing us to build off of these and lay the foundation for Asia’s online football communities”.

The WAFF's upcoming competitions to be streamed live and on-demand on MyCujoo are the 7th U15 boys' championship in July, the 1st U18 boys' championship in August, the 1st women's club championship in October, and the 2nd U15 girls' championship in December. The 2nd U18 girls' championship will also be organised at a date still to be announced.

MyCujoo is closing in on partnerships with more than 150 football federations - continental, regional, national and local, mostly for multi-year agreements.
