  • The partnership sees MyCujoo land exclusive, worldwide digital rights for several key Brazilian competitions to be streamed on the platform including the Brasileirão Serie D and the Feminino Serie A and B
  • With CBF in the fold and after recently securing agreements with 13 state federations, MyCujoo is in prime position to engage the estimated 2 million registered football players in the country

Amsterdam, Netherlands (3 May 2019) - Since 2017, MyCujoo has invested in Brazil as a key growth market, and this strategy is receiving a significant confirmation in the form of a multiyear, exclusive partnership with the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF), the national football governing body in Brazil.

Several historic stakeholders and competitions have already been collaborating with the leading football streaming network since the Federação Cearense de Futebol streamed the first Brazilian match live on the MyCujoo.tv platform - the Copa de São Paulo Junior, Fluminense FC or the Federação Mineira de Futebol, among many others, have contributed to establishing MyCujoo as the largest Brazilian football content platform, serving previously unavailable content to millions of Brazilian football fans.

The strength of MyCujoo ́s unique value proposal for Brazilian football is now materializing through this agreement. Close to 700 matches per season organised by the CBF will be streamed on the platform, from the following competitions : on the men ́s side, the Brasileirão Série D, youth under 23 league (Aspirantes), youth under 20 cup, youth under 17 league and cup. For women ́s football MyCujoo will stream the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol Feminino Série A1, Série A2, as well as the youth under 18 league.

MyCujoo is extremely proud to partner with CBF and to further establish our credibility as the number one platform for Brazilian football” said Pedro Presa, CEO and co-founder of MyCujoo. “As we continue to fulfill our mission to build the world football ́s premier community platform, our vision, our product and our credentials allow us to seduce the most important football federation in the world. We will work hand in hand with CBF to give visibility to their competitions and further engage with their communities of players and fans”.

Players will be a specific focus for MyCujoo, with new features empowering players featured on the platform to claim their digital profile, own and share their individual contents. This will allow both MyCujoo and CBF to engage with the player community and encourage these communities to generate their own content.

Commenting on the new agreement, Manoel Flores, Competitions Director at CBF, said;
We are very happy with this partnership between CBF and MyCujoo. MyCujoo is a platform that has demonstrated to be a fantastic partner for football worldwide, present in so many countries around the world, empowering football content. For us, this distribution capacity was essential. We will be able to broadcast our competitions in the most accessible manner and therefore provide very high visibility for women's football and youth football”.

This agreement follows several important successes for MyCujoo - starting with an OTT platform launch with the International Hockey Federation (FIH), multiyear content partnerships with the OFC, Malaysia Football League and Japan Women's Football League, and a product evolution focusing on activating the community of football players featured on the platform. 2019 is proving to be a year of exceptional growth for MyCujoo as it continues to expand its unparalleled global football content portfolio.
