Amsterdam, Netherlands (29 January 2019) - mycujoo, the world’s leading football streaming platform, announces a partnership with Malaysia Football League (MFL) over the streaming rights of the Malaysia Premier League, with the agreement including all digital media rights exclusively for the next three seasons until 2021.

The Malaysia Premier League, the country’s second tier competition, has long been unavailable for the fans to watch at home despite the broadcasting rights being held by various broadcasters over the years.

We are thrilled to sign this agreement with the Malaysia Football League” said Pedro Presa, CEO and co-founder of mycujoo. “This will allow us to create an even deeper relationship with Malaysian football fans. Ultimately, our goal is to serve and engage this community together with MFL and the Malaysian football family, from the top to the grassroots”.

MFL always strives to fulfil the needs of Malaysian football fans who want to watch their favourite teams live,” said MFL CEO, Kevin Ramalingam. “mycujoo have come in at the right time, as fans are excited to follow the Liga Premier action this season. I believe that this partnership will give all Malaysian football fans the opportunity to watch their teams in action, no matter where they are.

The agreement will ensure Malaysia Premier League fans are able to follow their team’s matches live and on-demand, wherever they are without restrictions, on a multitude of platforms - mycujoo.tv, mycujoo’s iOS and Android apps, Football Malaysia’s website, and media outlets covering the competition.

After a strong 2018 with several agreements signed with content rights holders (now 40 such agreements in Asia), mycujoo is expected to increase significantly its number of Asian streams this year. Moreover, 2019 will be a crucial and exciting year for mycujoo, with more key partnerships to be announced soon, as well as important product and technology developments towards community-building, content creation and data collection.
