Major issue on mycujoo

On 3 January 2019 mycujoo faced a major technical problem, which consequently caused the platform to suffer a period of downtime, and the inability for new users to access our live and on-demand content. Our engineers immediately worked on a solution to rectify this, and resolved the main issue.

On 3 January 2019 mycujoo faced a major technical problem, which consequently caused the platform to suffer a period of downtime, during the live streams of the Copa Sao Paulo de Futbol Junior in particular. We faced multi-layered performance deterioration impacting our infrastructure and third party dependencies. An initial streaming issue affected the datastore directly causing the service to be interrupted.

Our engineers immediately worked on a solution to rectify this, and resolved the main issue, however the deployment of the solution was partially delayed due to issues with third party dependencies. Our teams are now monitoring the platform minute by minute to ensure the live stream experience is fully returned to the high quality experience which our users and partners are accustomed to.

We would like to apologise to the thousands of fans who were on the platform to follow their teams and to our partners for the outage. Neither Federação Paulista de Futebol nor any of our partners are responsible for the outage. We assure all of our stakeholders that all our teams are dedicated to making certain this issue will not be replicated further.
