Amsterdam, Netherlands (Feb. 25, 2020) Five months after finalising a multi-year streaming partnership, the Football Association of Moldova and MyCujoo officially kicked off a unique collaboration. Thanks to the partnership, many of the more than 3,500 annual matches from all competitions organised by the FA of Moldova will be streamed to football fans in an effort to grow and further develop youth football nationwide.

In order to achieve the ambitious scale of match delivery, MyCujoo hosted a series of streaming workshops in the Moldovan capital, Chișinău, aimed at empowering clubs to stream their own matches. Approximately 200 delegates from youth clubs, amateur clubs, clubs of the women’s top league and men’s second division, as well as the beach soccer and futsal associations were in attendance.

The workshops, which took place on 19 and 20 February, took delegates through an A to Z of streaming using MyCujoo’s unique smartphone broadcast solution and included modules covering best practise production and match promotion.

Commenting on the partnership, FA of Moldova president Leonid Oleinicenco said, "the FA of Moldova took an important step last year in promoting football, when we started to broadcast all matches in the first division. And this year, through our cooperation with MyCujoo, we want to go even further, to offer the possibility to juniors, lower divisions and women's football clubs to be watched, followed and promoted. To enable this, the Federation went even further, helping small teams to purchase technical equipment and train people who will deal directly with match broadcasting. I hope that this cooperation between FMF and MyCujoo will deliver incremental revenue, and lead to further successful joint projects in the future.”

Diego Compaire, Director of Content at MyCujoo added, “Our collaboration with the FA of Moldova is about much more than live streaming. By empowering clubs across the country to broadcast using our unique and free smartphone application, we are able to directly support the vision of the FA of Moldova to grow youth football across the country”.

Moldova is the third UEFA national association to directly partner with MyCujoo following deals with the Bulgaria Football Union and the Cyprus FA. The multi-year streaming agreement signed between the FA of Moldova and MyCujoo includes not only national and regional youth competitions but also the women’s top league and cup (the National Division and Moldova Cup), the men’s second league (Division A), beach soccer and futsal.
