This week on mycujoo, we selected an incredible goal from Denmark, some beautiful saves from Solomon, a weird goal from Singapore, a fair-play move from Brazil, some crazy celebrations from Brazil too and finally a Futsal game to certainly not miss in Kyrgysztan. Enjoy !

Great goals

Finnur Justinussen will certainly remember the 21 April 2018. That day, he gave the victory to his team, Næstved, in the Denmark 2nd division game against Middelfart. So far, nothing exceptional for a striker, you might think. Except the goal came at the 91st minute of the game, and the win meaning his club is now second in the promotion round, in position to go up. Well, very good. But there is better. The goal is a perfectly curved half-volley from 25 meters, ending up in the top corner of the nets. Some, in Denmark, even compared this marvel with a legendary goal scored by Ravn for Brøndby in 1998 against Bayern Munich, not less...

Great saves

In both semi-finals first legs of the OFC Champions League, defenses remained stronger than attacks. And in the game between Fiji’s Lautoka FC and Solomon’s Marist FC, it might even have been more remarkable. After 5 minutes, the Marist goalie Anthony Talo got injured on a brave aerial save and had to be replaced by Harold Nauania. And the sub did not shake a second. He multiplied the saves all game long, like on this low shot (see below), this dangerous cross, or this other one in the air. And as every good keeper, he even had his lot of luck on this shot.
Final result, 1-1, and now Lautoka will have to score in front of a potential 30 000 people crowd in Honiara for the second leg, good luck...

All type of goals counts the same. This one for sure has something special. In the Great Eastern-Hyundai Singapore Premier League, Hafiz Nor of Home United FC invented a trick which could well be re-used… Against Geylang International FC, he opened the score after 2 minutes on a curious move. Slipping in the box, he fell down, which froze the defenders, went quickly back on his feet and beat the opponent’s keeper. Curious, but efficient…

Some sweetness

Last saturday was a happy day for Atibaia in Paulistao A3 promotion play-offs, as they qualified by beating Capivariano 3-2. However, the pill tasted bitter for Paraiba as he got red carded and will certainly be suspended for the final. But sometimes in football, you see very nice moves. The Capivariano captain Rodrigo Sabia, at first angry about the foul, went to Paraiba who was in tears, consoled him, hugged him and walked him off the pitch. A great gesture from a player of a team just about to be out of the contention to be promoted. Chapeau !

The game to watch

It is finally coming to an end in Kyrgysztan Super League Futsal Cup with an exciting final game next Monday between Alga and EREM. This will be the fifth and last game of the Final Series which has seen the two clubs winning 2 games each so far. Osh EREM was highly favourite, being the reigning champion and having won the Super Cup and the Cup this year, but Alga hold it up and equalised in a dramatic fourth game. But will they be able to go further and win the whole Series ? EREM and its goleador Maksadbek Alimov (29 goals in the campaign...) are certainly not agreeing...
